NomaticX, Inc. is a veteran-owned technology company headquartered in Utah. We design and develop privacy-first mobile software for outdoor communities, beginning with our flagship app, Nomatic Atlas.

To help people spend less time on their phones and more time outside with the people they trust.
Our story
NomaticX began with a frustration: the existing outdoor apps optimized for the wrong things. They rewarded whoever posted loudest rather than whoever knew the trail. They turned a quiet morning on the water into a content opportunity, and treated the location of a favorite spot as inventory to be sold.
We wanted software that understood the difference between an audience and a group of friends — between a trip you took and a post you made about it. That software didn't exist, so we started building it.
Nearly a decade and multiple complete iterations later, that work became Nomatic Atlas. Features that didn't earn their place were cut; the parts that survived were rebuilt more than once. We took the long way on purpose.
Leadership
Two veterans. One quiet idea.
NomaticX was founded by two United States military veterans and remains founder-led. What service taught us — that small teams who trust each other accomplish more than large teams who don't — is how we run the company and how we design our products.
For now, we're keeping the focus on the product and its community rather than on ourselves. Investors, partners, and members of the press can reach leadership directly through our contact page.
